I actually had this trip planned some months ago, but it was timely, now that my long-term housing in Japan was finally settled. Itwas time for a little vacation/relaxation.
I met Tom and Jane over 40 years ago and now consider them my second Mom and Dad.
We met at a Porsche Parade in Costa Mesa, and with Tom and my passion and enthusiasm for this marque built a long friendship that I now consider as part of my family.
Friendships are very important to me, so I cherish the time that I spend with them.
Jane’s birthday was coming up, so I wanted to celebrate this as well. In addition, the Punahou Carnival was the same weekend. If you don’t know Punahou, think President Obama. Tom is also a Punaho Graduate, and he is the one who introduced me to the School and Carnival. It was the best Hawaiian carnival ever, filled with lots of food and fun. I’m now trying to plan another trip in 2025!
