Currently, I’m in Kyoto, the Center of History and Culture of Japan. I have been here a few times and it’s high on my list of cities to live in Japan. So, I’m here to do two primary things:
search for a new Home/Cultural Center Site and explore some of the Cultural Crafts.
- While in Kyoto, I was able to meet with Steven Huang of Koryoya, https://koryoya.com/ Steven has renovated his own Machiya here in Kyoto and his company helps potential buyers through the process of purchasing Machiyas and Kominkas. Steven is currently helping me identify potential sites to review.
- So far, I have looked at four potential sites in the Kyoto area while also taking in its beauty.
